Even though the Brewers had two runners on base and didn't score, I still view that as a positive inning.

Okay, we get the joke. Saying negative things is fine but we just received survey results back and game thread complaints were numerous. It’s obviously a problem.

Say negative things, that’s fine. But don’t hammer at them night in, night out.

I'm not astute enough to pick up on it, but is Lauer doing something different?  He seems much more dominant as opposed to a nice back end starter.

I think it's mainly the velocity. He used to be around 90-92, but now he's 94-96 easily on his fastball. He also developed (refined?) a cutter last year that's become a great pitch for him.

This team may have had a cupcake schedule in April but they’ve done what good teams do with cupcake schedules: win a lot of games.

Also took a series from Philly in their house and split with the Cards which is always a challenging team for the Crew.  They are hanging with the good teams too.

I love Rowdy!

Another bomb

I love this team!  Just a bunch of dudes that love doing what they do and love who they are doing it with.  Can't wait for Urias to get back and add to that.

Not sure how deep you want to go, but this article is a pretty good breakdown on Lauer

Gomes is catching tonight

Ah crap you're right thanks for the catch. I had assumed he was catching because he's been hitting. Haven't quite gotten use to the DH in the NL, I guess. Still, it's "LOL CONTRERAS" all day every day, am I right?

Thank you to the opening message for the GT.  I am one who has avoided this spot for quite awhile during games--mainly because a few posters do not make it fun to be here (DESPITE THE GREATEST 4 YEAR RUN IN THE HISTORY OF BREWER BASEBALL)
