Worst defensive performance of the year by a mile.

Yep. If Kolten cannot go tomorrow, they need to put him on the IL and bring up Turang. Hiura at 2B will not cut it.

Yep and they need to shuttle up some arms to boot.

Can CC finally admit once renfroe is back that Taylor is our CF? bring in Cain late in the game and sub Taylor for yelich.  Cain is really, really done

This game has been less fun for me as a fan than the high scoring affair from yesterday. Sloppy baseball from the Crew. Cutch is 0 for his last 26 with 0 walks. That’s a pretty crazy slump. Or he’s just this bad…unrelated topic, Caratini acquisition could go down as our best under the radar move.

2 for 31 now for McCutchen.

Approaching CC territory.

In the end often when you think you have outsmarted everyone it turns out there was a reason a guy was unemployed. Cain Yelich and Cutch making a combined 50 million dollars is insane.

This bullpen is fried.

Whoever gets the emergency start tomorrow is going to get the Alec Bettinger “take one for the team” treatment”.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

And with that the Cubs equal their win total against the Brewers for all of last season.

In the end, it's just one game. We are a very injured team right now and have been playing well against some pretty good teams despite that. Onto the next one.

Bad loss. Can't leave Kelley out there to get blown up but they are in a tough spot. Too bad because tomorrow is an L.

Why do you assume tomorrow is an L? Hendricks has been horrible this year, and we shelled him the last time we faced him. Hader and Williams will also be rested and ready to go after not pitching tonight.

How you going to get to them?? I could be wrong. History with Hendricks aside I just don't see keeping them at bay with what we have.

I am shocked that this team is so thin in the minors that Kelley is a legit option. Draft college pitchers who maybe can come up in September and help.

He’s not good. Their is a reason he hasn’t pitched more than 9 big league innings in a single season. Teams find out quickly and move on. I suspect the brewers will do the same. Go Crew!

Alexander has been good in the minors. Sanchez, who has been excellent so far, is also available. Brewers have a real shot to win tomorrow. If we were playing the Dodgers, I might agree with you, but these are the Cubs. And Hendricks has been absolutely brutal lately.
