This team is playing like it’s the 11th game of a 10 day road trip. Injuries aren’t helping either, obviously.

No!  They get paid lots of money to play ball!

Let's play ball without excuses!

No offense to you, personally, BUT the Brewers better NOT be complacent in ANY game!  You are a very well paid professional!  No Excuses!

About the same as losing 5 games to the Cubs.

And yet, we're also undefeated so far against the Pirates. The point is that really good teams lose games to bad teams all the time in MLB, and that it doesn't mean all that much in the grand scheme of things.

Yep…..I would have taken 6-5 on the trip in a heartbeat considering all of the  obstacles.

Having to start both Alexander and Small……Lots of slumping hitters ….wind……defensive issues…..

looking forward to getting some guts back…..hopefully soon……June schedule ain’t easy.

Agree with all of this. Also, the best start to a season in franchise history. Hoping that Renfroe can be the start of a positive turn for our injured players when I attend on Friday night.

I said we were due for a 14-3 drubbing given the injury situation.  We may have found that game.  Pity last night got away.

I definitely wanted the win last night assuming tonight’s game could be a challenge

Can't believe I'm longing for the days of JBJ with what Cain is giving us right now.

JBJ did worse, over a longer time frame, but yeah, Cain is painful to watch.

True. I guess I'm mainly looking at what JBJ is doing for the Red Sox currently, which is actually not all that bad at a .4 WAR.

We traded the wrong guy for Renfroe. ?

Schwindel was a pretty good story last year--guy finally gets his chance to play in the majors and rakes. He's regressed a lot, and probably to his true ability.

Hiura with a nice two strike approach last ab leads to a run. He is doing his job every night. Hopefully he won't disappear when everyone gets back.

He should be our DH in place of Cutch against RH pitchers

Man the replay looks close. Still hate the send.
