Severino is costing the Brewers a run a game because he can’t catch.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Good lord.  I think I'm gonna call it a nite pretty darn quick.  Two runs is 2 too many for us to overcome at this ball park.

The Brewers have a better chance of getting a run on a solo HR.

Bases loaded and nobody out is not their thing.

The Crew is gonna struggle to score in SF.

If we have 3 catchers, why is Severino behind the plate?

Such pathetic approaches. Willy was still trying to hit a bomb even with 2 strikes. I don’t get the Brewer affinity for slow pitch softball approaches

Either that is the way Counsell and staff coach the players how to hit or Counsell doesn’t hold any player accountable. The batting on this team is getting very tiring.

Until the Brewers develop a better approach at the plate they will continue to leave runners on base and continue to lose games that they should win, that their pitching staff gives them an opportunity to win. . I'm not suggesting that have to alway bunt, or always play small ball, but they DO have to put the ball in play. The number of strikeouts with RISP is unacceptable.

He’s not, Caratini is catching

My mistake. With the frozen screens on the TV coverage it’s hard to keep track of what’s going on.

I love Willy as much as the next guy but his over swinging is getting very very old

Someone needs to pull Adames aside and teach him the science of batting. I really don’t think this coaching staff is very good at teaching their players how to hit, or the Brewer players really don’t give a damn what the coaches teach them. If I were to guess historically Counsell is hardheaded and will stick with his way of doing things and remain stubborn. He had such promise earlier in his coaching tenure.

Do they keep a stat for % of runs driven in via the home run? If so the crew has to be pretty high on the list.

Pretty much live or die with the long ball and that is why I cant see them going anywhere in the playoffs.

Nothing you can do about Rowdy's, though....That should result in Runs 9 times out of 10....

Perfect example of why this isn’t a good park for teams that rely heavily on HRs to score.

I raised this question yesterday and nobody responded.

I thought maybe one of the stat gurus here would have that at their fingertips.

I’d be really surprised if the Brewers weren’t near the top of this list because they are middle of the road at putting runners on base but near the top in HRs.

I heard the Braves announcers talking about how high their percentage has been.

Maybe the Brewers can bring in a baserunner with Rodon out.
