Wonder if they bring Burnes and Woodruff back on short rest, to avoid the the 3-4 bullpen games they’ll have between now and the end

Woodruff's next scheduled start would be Monday.  I am not sure the Brewers would go with Burnes with only 4-days of rest maybe but Woodruff should start on Monday that would give him 4 full days of rest and starting on the 5th day.  I don't see a need to bump Woodruff off of his schedule.

Adames is lucky they turned that DP. That glove hand toss was unnecessary BS.

I was at the yard tonite. Was b****ing at Adames from the moment he released that "feed", if you can call it that. I never thought it possible to be so upset at a Brewer DP to get out of a jam. Wong saved the day, big time.

Great AB by Yelich from where I was sitting. Not easy to come back from 0-2 there, much less draw the walk. There's takes, and then there's really good takes.

Don't think I've ever been at a game where I saw so many combined good ABs by light-hitting catchers. Was actually surprised Williams struck out Knizner in the 8th. He was staying on the ball & driving it to the middle of the diamond all night.

I wonder if any fans asked for refunds because they didn't get to see any of the illustrious icons (Wainwright, Molina, Pujols) perform. I guess we should just be happy to be in the same building as such majesty.

Agreed. I don't think it makes sense to have Woodruff pitch on short rest. Pitching SP on short rest has proven to a be a mixed bag and the overall numbers are worse when SP go on short rest.

Knizner has 4 HRs this year, and 2 were hit in his last two games vs. the Brewers.

So StL idiotically brings in a RHP to pitch to Hiura, who rakes vs. RHP, and CC immediately PH's Yelich. It worked out OK, but it was stupid.

Keston Hiura's September OPS is .508. After a very good August, he's been absolutely ice cold. Yes, he had a big hit last night, but that move was far from stupid.
