Why couldn't you do that last time, Garrett?

This team seems to have a poor sense of timing along with the other litany of faults

An outfield that includes Mitchell and Frelick next year is going to be fun.

Don't count on that too heavily.

I doubt Renfroe is going anyplace, and we still have Yelich for the next 7 freaking seasons. UGH!

I don't see Hiura being back, so maybe they just move Renfroe to DH permanently, and put Mitchell in RF and Frelick in CF?  Maybe a rotation of Renfroe and Yelich switching off at DH all season?

I just hope we don't even consider McCutchen or another player like him in 2023.  No more outfielders, we have enough of those in house, put the money someplace else.

6 seasons. That mutual option isn't happening. Also, Yelich can DH.

I really hope that Counsell stays with Burns through 9 if he is still pitching well instead of taking him out.

I can see Burnes through eight given that he's facing the bottom of the lineup but there's no reason to put him out there for the ninth if the Brewers are winning. Put a new arm in for the fourth time through the lineup.

I would think they would put Yelich in as more of a full-time DH over Renfroe. It might keep Yelich’s back healthier, which hopefully would improve his offense, and it would keep Yelich’s awful arm out of the outfield.

I can see them moving Yelich to DH more in the future to pave the way for Mitchell, Frelick, Wiemer, and Ruiz. Renfroe will probably stay as the main right-fielder, which allows you to transition the younger guys to the majors without exposing them too much on what should be a contending ballclub.

Yeah. That is what Devin is for.

Wow! What a click you guys are! This is definitely a bad place to post anything! How many members? Like 5 or 10. What a dumb site, moving on to one with more of a general consensus!

How much does hiura cost?    I’m assuming it’s nothing.   I’d bring him back

Corbin be like, "That's still my Cy Young Award!"

Alcantara says. “If only I didn’t have the worst offense in the league behind me”.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I believe Alcantara plays for the Marlins and not the Tigers/Pirates.

Absolutely. A few weeks ago that was almost a guaranteed strikeout

Yeah. With his defense, I'd imagine you're looking at something like a 5 WAR player.

I believe that the “league” I was referring to was the National League, and that the Marlins are a shade below the Pirates in runs per game.
