No pressure tonight!

Let's come out and fight!

Let's hack Zac

so he never wants to come back.

Brewers may feel a bit sour, BUT

we have Lauer, AND

he can bring cheer in this despairing hour.

'22 may be leaving us blue, BUT let's press through!

Hopefully,

'23

will make us lighter and more free!

I'm planning on streaming these last couple games after work with the WTMJ audio as usual and just enjoying baseball for baseball's sake, and listening to Mr. Baseball.

Only two more times

will we hear these rhymes.

They don't enthrall me,

but they also don't gall me.

So if they're not to your liking

then just go hiking

(to the next post).

? OK, I need some time off.

We don't know how many chances we'll have left to do that. Very cool idea.

That's what I was thinking but I couldn't bring myself to actually say it.

Not a bad idea; at this point you never really know if he'll be back the next season.

Edit: Didn't see the last couple posts.

Part of me wants Bob to just go fishing, but then I realize this IS his fishing, if you know what I mean. The guy is living out his life doing what he enjoys, surrounded by people who get a kick out of him, and vise-versa. God Bless 'im.

Probably would have gone with…

Woodruff DH
Hiura SS
Rowdy CF
Renfroe 2B
Wong 1B
Brosseau RF
Mitchell 3B
M Bush LF
McCutchen C

…but that’s why I’m just a message board poster.

Throw in the bowl of potato salad in the dugout & half-barrel at 2B and I'm there.

Keston could hit 5 bombs the last couple games and I still wouldn’t be able to wait until he’s no longer on the team.

Not that I hate Hiura but I think it is time for he and the team to go separate ways.  He is just too much of an all or nothing player.

Same. We just have way too many of those types in this lineup. And he adds nothing on defense either so it's a pretty easy choice.

I feel the same way.  I remember when he was drafted they had him in the booth for his interview and he basically said hitting is the one thing he doesn’t have to worry about.  Unfortunately he can’t hit.

This season could have went a completely different direction if they would have just given the young guys an opportunity and didn’t trade Hader.
