Might be smoke. Who knows.

Ravens have: 22, 86, 124, 157 and 199

Per the value chart, the Ravens would literally have to give up all of them to move up to #13. If they're asking, they'd better be offering 22 and a really high 2024 pick.

Or if they are in need to shed some cap money Baltimore maybe offers to take Bahkt and his salary of our hands?  you know plus a couple picks from them.

If that’s the case, they better pick a highly ranked OT with their 1st round pick. I sure hope there will be someone worthwhile to pick at #22. I don’t think so!!!

What am I missing here? Having discussions doesn't mean anything until they are actually serious discussions. As of now it's a rumor they've talked. Is this substantial?

Looking at the list of players attending the draft, Keion White is one of the 17 but Lukas Van Ness is not one of them.  All of the other 16 are projected to be top-20 picks.

None of the TE's are there.

Well, that's interesting. Van Ness not one of them really surprises me.

I am very curious to see how Anthony Richardson pans out. The guy is an absolute freak athletically. This is just silly for a QB:

Sounds like a New Orleans type pick at #29 and gets the Taysom Hill treatment (initially at least).

If Sean Payton was there, I'd bet on it.  But since the Broncos don't have a 1st or 2nd Round pick, I doubt Sean is going to get him.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Yup, they make a ton of sense to want the pick…but they don’t have a 2nd rounder. That makes a trade nearly impossible. Considering they will almost surely pick 20+ next year, they almost would have to include their 1st rounder next year

I can’t see the Packers moving down to 22 with their 2024 2nd rounder headlining the deal.

3 first rounders in 2024 would be pretty cool.

Especially after Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson both implode and their teams pick Top 10.

One can dream.

Yes. They. Can. Keep dreaming, my friend. Love it.

Whispers are there are major concerns re: Edge Tyree Wilson's medicals. Both feet. And a back issue. IF he falls past Seattle, we know the medicals are more worrisome for more teams than anticipated.

The obvious add-on here is who benefits most from this should he fall?

CJ Stroud
Will Anderson
Parison Johnson Jr.
Jalen Carter (?)

Apparently, CJ Stroud is now the odds on favorite to go #2

Apparently, Seattle has been getting calls all afternoon from the Titans and the Iggles to move up to their 5th spot. That's interesting.

There are substantiated rumors/whispers, fwiw, that if Seattle moves down they may be targeting Van Ness and he is a player the Eagles covet. I think NFL teams see a guy with all the tools and size and he can get stronger in their weight rooms.

Personally, I think the Eagles may be targeting if those top Tackles go and they can't trade up. IF they trade up, I imagine the Iggles - given the contract to Hurts and given how Roseman works - would be targeting a top Tackle.

I would hate to have traded up to get the 1st overall pick in this year's draft, need a quarterback, and then realize the consensus top overall pick is a 5'10" quarterback.  There are exceptions to every rule, and Bryce Young was a great college football player....but man he's small and the list of undersized QB's who draftniks say "play bigger than their stature in the pocket" that wind up busting is alot longer than the list who actually do at the NFL level.

Just a quick heads up- feel free to continue Packer-related draft discussion here, including aftermath following the picks, but feel free to post general draft thoughts in our ongoing draft event thread:

Van Ness is a very very Packers pick. Bigger Edge. His ceiling is extremely high. And, the Packers not taking a WR or a TE early is classic Packers.
