Absolutely agree. DR making a deep run with Adames stuck on the bench would have been terrible for the Brewers. Huge win for us that they lost.

I think their manager was saying about giving everyone a shot in group stages, he was probably making the effort to get Ketel marte out there in the last game, but yeah Adames actually outperformed them at the plate

Still good to have him back, and he can enjoy Sal giving him **** about how Italy are a better baseballing nation

That was the second game Marte started. Adames was the only one of the Marte, Pena, Franco group to only start one game.

Italy not doing much to help themselves out. 5 walks through 3 innings and an error that led to Japan scoring their first run of the game. Should add this ump isn't doing much to help. He's totally squeezing Italy's pitchers.

It was great to see Mike Trout carry Team USA last night, combined with an excellent bullpen effort.

They are likely to get bounced by Venezuela in the quarterfinals, but you never know in single elimination. The lineup needs some adjustments to get the cold bats out of there.

Passan reporting that Díaz is done for the year with a torn patellar tendon. Ouch.

Yup, did it during a celebration.

Made me pretty happy because I had just drafted him on one of my fantasy teams with a very high draft pick.

This world baseball classic is amazing. Anyone who isn’t watching it is missing out on some of the best baseball you’ll see until October.

I really hate that it's during March Madness.

It’s kind of amazing how many baseball fans there are in Miami who don’t give a s*** about the joke of a MLB franchise that plays there.

And this is why I’m not watching.

Yep, I watched some of the earlier games this week but starting the USA games so late made those hard to stay up for and now having the knockout bracket during March Madness makes that hard to watch too. I'll try and tune in for the USA/Venezuela game but not sure how close of attention I'll be paying

You said it.  All of the Marlins games are televised down here on the gulf coast and if you want to go to a game and be by yourself LoneDepot Park is the place to go!  lol

It’s loanDepot park. Don’t capitalize that P or else!
