Beating some good teams right now...with a terrible offense. Call up or trade for a bat or two, Ashby and Woody come back look out! We can run with anyone in the playoffs just have to get in.

Offense has been coming around a little lately...

First 19 Games (14-5): 103 wRC+
Next 49 Games (20-29): 79 wRC+
Last 29 Games (20-9): 92 wRC+

That 92 wRC+ doesn't include today's game, but it does go to show with even something resembling an average offense like we had to start the year and have been getting closer to approximating over the last month of so this is a very dangerous team.

I’ll leave you with this: It’s unlikely, but it isn’t impossible that top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski debuts at some point this season. He was recently promoted to Double-A and while he’s still refining a few things, I had a talent evaluator recently tell me: “You know I’m not prone to hyperbole, but I legitimately think he has the best stuff in the minors.”

Whether he debuts in 2023 or 2024, the Brewers believe Misiorowski has the potential to be really, really good.

That article also points out that Juan Soto is a free agent after next season, so if the Padres do become sellers, although very unlikely, maybe they move him at the deadline.

He would look amazing in our lineup every day!
