If I’m Arnold, no way you can wait till the deadline at this point. You gotta try to get another starter. Dangle one of our non-Chourio OF prospects, Black, etc.

CC—— “it’s minor, precautionary… nothing major.”

Yep.Just what he said about Woodruff.

I’ll be really surprised if Burnes doesn’t miss a few starts. Hopefully no more than that.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If it is a pectoralis muscle strain then it is about 20 days to return to playing.

That would be best case imo. Hopefully it’s that.

I don't care what anyone says, I enjoy Vinnie Rottino.

BA can go chase all the national gigs full time and I'd be fine with that.

Same here. He's no Rock, but he's entertaining.

Fine. Garrett Mitchell, then.

Uh-uh.

None of Chourio, Mitchell, Frelick, Black, or Wiemer.

I'll consider one of the shortstops outside Brown: Zamora/Garcia/Guilarte and package with a second-tier OF (Lutz/Perez/Mendez) and maybe someone from Nashville for help.

One thought: See if a smaller deal - Hedbert Perez for Brent Suter can be worked out. I'm sure there are similar options.

After that RBI single the Mariners had thrown 97pitches. Contreras seen 20 of them.

Just a clinic on how not to force your swings. Such a calming presence in the line-up. So thrilled with his play style.

An upside. Suter would have no pitch clock violations.

You’re not getting anything meaningful with that package.

Suter? You gotta be kidding me

With Burnes going out now too, the Brewers are probably going to need to add another reliever to the staff to absorb innings that Woodruff and Burnes might have covered but that their replacements probably won’t.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It was glove side, not throwing arm side. that's a good thing

I will still enjoy the way this team is playing ball on offense but I don’t see how they survive this.          A lot of muscle injuries.    Hmmmmm
