Jeff Levering and Vinny Rottino have been doing a lot of games lately, was just wondering what everyone thinks of these guys.

I personally like them a lot, especially Rottino. Its definitely refreshing after all these years of Bill and BA.

I like Rock, might be alone in that thinking, but I'm loving Vinnie!

BA can just leave for all I care.  He's not the brewer announcer anymore imo.  He is just a guest announcer.

Vinnie is growing on me. I like him a lot more than I like Dillard. When CY was pinch-hitting, Vinnie said something to the effect of "Yelich doesn't chase." Not sure I agree.

I think I like announcers a lot more when the Brewers are winning.

Vinnie is getting better. You could tell he was fresh and new at it to start the year but they really are getting into a groove together. I do like how he’s definitely a homer but not in an annoying way at all. You want your announcers to have some bias right? I liked a couple quips where for us ‘he didn’t go around’ then Seattle was up ‘see, they went around there’. They also seem to really enjoy what they do. That’s not a given. There’s a lot of announcers across the league worse than that paring. We have been spoiled with Ueker , BA, Matt V, Jim Powell, Rock (to a point haha), heck even Daren Sutton. Rottino and Levring will only get better together as well and will make less mistakes as they go. Makes it enjoyable to watch.

Vinny was decent to start and has really improved.  Will be just fine to take over when Rock fully retires.

Levering is fine.  I'd prefer BA if he were the every day guy, but I'd rather they just went with Levering every game instead of making him scoot whenever BA wants to grace us with his presence.

I think Sophia has shown some improvement on the "he said"s, which is also a plus.

I think they are very very good. I like Vinny's scouting background and Jeff's good balance of humor.

They both should be ridiculed for their fear of eating grasshoppers.

Their banter while eating grasshoppers today was gold, Jerry, GOLD!!!  My wife was rolling!

I think they are both very good and improving every day.  I’m glad to hear BA when he’s around.  Rock is a legend, both for how good he is at his job and for how bad he is at his job.

Again, as others have said multiple times over the years, we are extremely blessed to have the television and radio announcers that we have had over the past decades.  When you sit and force yourself to watch/listen to an entire week’s worth of games from some other team’s broadcasters, it is plainly obvious how good we have it.

I like them both, probably more impressed with Vinny, he seems like a keeper for sure. Levering is solid, he's light years better than Matt Lepay so I'm happy they have him. Jeff and Vinny have a good rapport and that makes them both better together.

BA and Rock are still top tier for me, it's too bad we don't get as much BA as we used to but it's still a treat when he is able to take the mic for a spell.

We will see what you guys think when we are in a losing streak. When you are winning, pretty much all announcers are great according to some.

They are refreshing from a baseball informational/statistical standpoint. They are much more well versed in the advanced metrics etc.

However, I like the more simplistic banter from BA/Rock. It is just a little more enjoyable to listen to over and over again. I love statistics and advanced metrics as much as the next guy...but when I am watching the game, I don't really need an AP Statistics lesson.

I am sure they will grow on me more as time goes on. BA/Rock have been doing it so long it is fun to hear about past Brewers/teams from them. They experienced it along with all of us over the years. They aren't just reading a script to talk about stuff, they were really there.

First off, I do like BA and Rock.  I don't want BA to leave, he's so good.  I don't care if he's only there for a partial schedule, we are lucky to have him.

I think Levering does a good job and is a professional broadcaster.  I didn't like Vinny when he started working on air.  Two days ago I thought to myself, "boy Vinny is getting pretty good, I kind of like him now."  You can tell he's working at it and becoming more comfortable.

I think it's good what we have going right now.  A good mix of talent.  It keeps things fresh.  It should keep the people who get super annoyed by the repetitiveness of a daily broadcaster and their sayings happy.

I'm 99% radio only listener (MLB At Bat), so my favorite pair is Levering and Grindle.  Of course Ueker is "the man" for home games, even though I've heard some of his stories a few times.  Josh Maurer with Grindle is also good on the radio; Maurer seems to be finding his groove. Brian Anderson is top notch for TV, but as someone has said, he's basically just a guest announcer.  I don't know, think, or care much about the other TV guys (except Levering).

ASIDE:  I have not studied this carefully, but when I listen live on MLB At Bat, it seems that all of the between inning ads are either generic national or aimed at my local (New Orleans) audience. But if I listen to the archived version, I get the Milwaukee and Wisconsin ads.  These are still ads, but they're more interesting than the same old Blue Nile mail-order jewelry and local Medicare Advantage cr4p.

I've probably only seen parts of 3 or 4 games on TV but from what I saw Dillard has toned the act down enough that I don't find him annoying anymore, so there's that. When he just talks baseball he's insightful.
