Not exactly the subject for a game thread, but the ball and strike calls tonight bring it to mind.

I’m wondering how the automated calling in AAA is going. I had a game on TV the other day where they said there was some dissatisfaction with it because the strike zone seemed really small and walks were up significantly.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I want my players to play, but I'd be pretty concerned about Ohtani stealing a base down 4 runs in the 8th inning.

Maybe they will also consider that the Brewers just lost 2 out of 3 at home to the cupcake Tigers, so maybe sweeping series against the bottom feeders isn’t always that easy.

Kinda like losing a series at home against the Whit Sox...

Some hilariously bad strike calls on balls.

I have it 9-3 atm Angel's favor. 2 of the Angel's bad zone calls came to a Ward AB. To funny it happened to Ward his next PA 3 batter up after his poor route on Contreras double. Ump was mad at him.
