This saddens me.

82brewcrew82 is right, all you can do is laugh at this point.

This year we're getting Marlins Yelich. One of the few nice things of this season so far.

I mean he's been almost the exact same guy in every season since 2020. I wouldn't say this season is any notable difference from the last 3. We just have given up on 2018 and 2019 Yelich a long time ago.

What a joke. This is fitting that the Brewers finally score some runs and have a “comfortable” lead after the travesty of a series against the A’s, only to have Williams forget how to pitch. This team needs to go into a full re-build. Sell anyone that you can. They missed their window of winning a World Series when they refused to add offense to their stellar pitching. Doesn’t pay to hold on to any of their pitching at this point. If they don’t trade Burnes and Adames this mid-season they are making a mistake. Sad all around.

Lol. Fire Counsell. No excuse for this team to be this pathetic.

Maybe some people have unrealistic expectations for the players.

This is the kind of loss fans should be excited about. Burnes upping his value and then losing so there are no illusions that you are a good team. You should be selling everything including the whirlpools in the clubhouse.

There is a notable difference, though. His xStats are all better, his launch angle is up, and he's playing GG defense in LF. Why he's on pace to equal his fWAR total from last year in the first half alone.

Not really. Performing at the last two years makes us clear favorites in this division...

Seriously, who is going to want Adames?  I truly mean that, he's a train wreck at the plate.  I think we are stuck with him...

Ready for the Jackson Chourio era. Although, who knows what this current hitter development staff will do to him.

Make him a platoon player, for starters.

94th Percentile in OAA, 1st in NL in dWAR for LF, 2nd in NL in DRS for LF...

How is that a stretch???

MTrebs made a point that I've seen play out a million times before when a team can't buy a win. You have a weakness--in this case the offense--that costs you games, then if/when THAT picks up, then one of the reliable elements of the team fails, at just the right time to cost you a win.

It really makes no difference how weak the division is, if they're in the race they aren't selling, unless what comes back can be of immediate benefit. Sort of like the Hader trade (not in the results but in theory).

Adames just astounds me. You put up 3 good ABs in a row vs the bullpen, have a couple runners on & he puts up arguably the worst AB of the entire game. This isn't slowpitch, you fail the majority of the time, but to look that ugly in that situation........

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they do with the roster moving forward. It's so disjointed right now. You have 3 true OFs (I consider Anderson a 3B) & two combination linebacker-first basemen who can't play anywhere else & are both LHH.

At this point next year the only guys I want to see back playing every day are Yelich and Wiemer. Anderson should bring back a prospect at the deadline and maybe Miller will as well. Contreas also can stick around. That is it. They are going to have to trade Burnes to replenish roster. Guage the market for Williams also since you are going no where.

Dodgers were interested before the season started and I believe they still would be interested now.  Adames would be an extreme upgrade over Rojas and Taylor at SS for the Dodgers.

Defense is still solid for Adames and I believe the Dodgers would give up one or two decent prospects for Adames.
