Plenty of potential scenarios. Justin Wilson coming off 60-day IL, Hiura, Black, trade acquisition are all potential options. I would guess Wilson is most likely scenario

They can remove Bennett Sousa from the 40 man for Wilson, too.

Anybody have any idea what is going on with Lauer? Seems like he might also be a candidate to move to the 60 day?

There's quite a bit they could be doing with this spot. Wilson, Hiura, Woodruff(unlikely to this point), Black, trade, etc. There isn't any specific need to rush filling that spot either, maybe just trying to sneak Alexander through early while other teams are more focused on other things.

10 year journeyman reliever with a 3.41 carreer ERA.  He was signed last winter coming off tommy john. 

Only question is whether his best years are behind him?

Could be really good, or could be DFA'd by Sept 1. He's only getting paid $850k this year. Brewers have a team option for 2024 with a $150k buyout. So $1 million guaranteed.

Carlos Santana will obviously have to be added to the 40 man and the major league roster. There is a 40 man spot available due to Jason Alexander's outright. On the 26 man roster, the most likely candidates for the option are Toro, Perkins, and Owen Miller.

I also wonder if Urias won't be recalled soon, perhaps as early as this weekend. He has really heated up in AAA and with his track record in the major leagues, he's gotta get the shot in the infield.
