Your team gets you the lead and you come out and fall behind 3-1 and throw a cookie. Cool

And that was a big fat sugar cookie right in the wheelhouse.

The vast majority of the high-end hitters in Major League baseball don't have the mechanical qwirks that way too many guys wearing Brewer uniforms have and far too many of them make it through the minor leagues with flawed mechanics only to be exposed when they get to the big league club.

The "you do you" Brewers hitting philosophy,

Why are you ignoring my Braves example? Name the last team to win a World Series with as bad of an offense as the 2023 Brewers?

Cards and Giants....5 time Champs from 2006-2014.  Not nearly as bad as the Crew this year, but they weren't all-star lineups by any means either.

Talent wise our lineup is similar...but output wise obviously those lineups were better down the stretch...but we CAN turn it around...

So now your standard for winning is a World Series victory.  I remember a Mariners team predicated almost entirely on offense that set the record for team wins that got bounced in the first round.  I seem to remember some Royals teams recently riding a great bullpen and a great defense to a World Series.  There is no formula guaranteed to win a World Series.  All different kinds of teams have won a title.  Yes, the Braves offense is great and they have the money to make it so but to ignore what their pitching has done is silly.  Run prevention isn't only defense.  Go ahead. move the goal posts again, it won't help.

Brewers need to figure out who's next at short because Turang doesn't appear to be the answer. Adames might be willing to talk extension after being horrible for two years. If not they need to figure something out.

The funny thing is, you have been one of the biggest critics here(and rightly so) of how putrid this offense is.

Day off yesterday. No reason to let Houser give this game away. What are we doing?

Not sure why the long leash.

Get him out.

Because it is and your point about the team being in a better position with better offense is probably true.  I think every single person on this board would agree with that.  Of course, they would also be better with Cole and Gallen in the rotation with a healthy Woodruff.  I do not, however, agree with your offense is everything and sell the future for it philosophy.

Oh look! Run prevention FTW!

Did you not just witness this team shut down the Reds offense?  I'm glad you think one game makes your point but it doesn't
