Good god. This game is over.

I usually don’t like doing this because I accept that posters blow off steam during a game and I contribute my share.

But if someone is going to go back and respond to those comments, then don’t make them yourself.

It's a win. We're having fun now. Don't tell me how to post.

You said it yourself, you contribute your share of blowing off steam. We all do.

I can't wait to play the Dodgers at Home...

I'd say there's always a chance with this pitching staff. Though that Dodgers lineup is monstrous, Freddie Freeman is the most inevitable thing on a baseball field, he just doesn't slump

Anything can happen on game day. And, this Brewers team could shock us and get hot at the perfect time. I certainly hope that happens.

If I'm being honest, however, my confidence in this team is shaky at present. The way they're playing, imho, doesn't breed confidence and I calmly and casually opine: they just don't look confident on the baseball diamond either. This looks like a team searching for itself during a time of year they would hopefully be hitting their stride. Everything suddenly feels monumentally hard for these players. From routine grounders to routine scoops off the outfield wall. They are fumbling the little things. And, when you're in the midst of a season-long struggle at the dish as a team you absolutely have to do everything else extremely efficiently and expertly. They have no room for error.

Anyhow, I am glad they pulled one off today. And, at this juncture, it doesn't matter how it looks as long as you win one. Getting into the post-season is the goal and seeing where the chips fall when you get there. Anything can happen. Especially in baseball.

They need to find some consistency. It looked like they found some coming out of the break, but then the Braves series happened and they haven't been able to recover their mojo since.

Rotation looks like a good bet to provide some consistency going forward with the Big 3 all up and running and then Miley on top of it.

Bullpen has been shakier lately. Probably a good idea to substitute Uribe for Peguero in the 7th inning spot for a while and let Peguero find his form in lower leverage. Devin and Payamps are nails.

Lineup is not going to be consistently elite in churning out runs. But they can at least be more consistent in putting up runs. Take advantage of opportunities when you're given them, instead of leaving the bases loaded with less than two outs, for example. Hopefully Rowdy can come back and find his power stroke. Sal/Monasterio have been a big bonus in the lineup and you figure Santana's luck will turn around somewhat going forward. Turang has been really good since coming back from AAA. Yelich and Contreras are great and steady at the top of the order. For the rest of the lineup, it's just about doing your job and putting competent at-bats together. We've been absolutely killed by the prolonged sub .600 OPS spurts we've gotten from Winker, Tellez, Taylor, Miller, etc.

Kissy face emoji? Like are we 7 here?

But I'll at least own up to it. With how Wilson has been serving up gopher balls lately, I thought he was the absolute worst choice for that situation, and that there was an extremely high likelihood of the Rockies putting the game out of reach in the top of the 10th. He gave up a run, but I was wrong, just like you were. Thanks for pointing it out. Go Brewers!

So, your idea of fun is going back and commenting on other posters in game comments.

You can post how you want but I’m telling you how it makes you look when you do that.

I had to go pick up my kid but hey, they won!

It was an ending befitting a tight 10-inning tilt versus the Rockies. As you say: '...hey, they won!' That's that, my friend.

Maybe ....JUST MAYBE... CC is sifting the wheat from the chaff with some of these new or marginal players in time for a big-time September run. (?) I hope

And now it's 4-2. Some of y'all need to take a breath.

I don't begrudge CC anything. In my younger days, I used to question CC on numerous occasions. As I aged, had a kid and got married, I grew to understand: he's an extremely underrated and gifted manager and I'm just a dad who loves baseball. He plays the players on the roster. He has to manage egos, rest, volatility etc. When it's working, everyone loves him. When the team is scuffling, they are questioning the Deadline; the bullpen decisions; the lineup. Everything. I trust him inherently. It's up to the players to perform, imho. Hopefully he strikes the right chords here as the season nears its end to nudge them in the appropriate directions.

Just a friendly reminder to any and all:

RHP Jacob Misiorowski leading OF Jackson Chourio and the Shuckers will be the MiLB.TV free game of the day tonight. They face the Cubbies' extremely formidable first place Tennessee Smokies who just absolutely smoked RHP Christian Mejias and the Shuckers bullpen last night, 14-1. C Jeferson Quero also returns from a prolonged absence due to a hand bruise.

If you care to check these young prospects out, here's your link:

You'll Find the 'Watch' Icon (eventually) on this page HERE

These games are like the pirates playing the Mets or royals or something like that.      It’s just bad baseball.    But someone has to win
