You cannot overemphasize just how awful that at bat by Adames was.

At a certain point Counsell has to hold guys accountable. Adames at bat was non competitive. You can't have that.

Adames is …. Just … I don’t even know anymore. Any struggling pitcher or somebody having a hard time finding the zone will feel better once they face him 😂

He should not be playing.      He kills more rallies than any actual good he does

Last inning was the reason I have a problem with Frelick being treated like he needs to be protected. He looked great that ab. Meanwhile vets Santana and Adames basically laid down. This team has way to many issues to say Frelick vs lefties is a problem.

Are we really going to pay Adames the 6 or 8 or whatever million he is going to get next season. Turang can hit .200 and play good defense for the minimum.

Adames will almost certainly be looking at something closer to $11 million. No way he's on my team next year.

it's less about Frelick and more about getting other guys ABs for depth sake.  If you want to put those guys in the best situations to succeed, then you find them ABs vs lefties...
