Other results going our way.

IF the Brewers can finish this off, they will have gone 8-5 in this 13 game stretch against below .500 competition. That's about the minimum they needed, I think.

The good news is, the Giants, Marlins, and Dbacks have struggled lately, so there's a little playoff cushion right now.

That getaway loss against Washington hurts.

And what about the rangers?

Both clubs are 9-1 in their last 10.  A little cooldown isn't a crazy prediction.  Heck, maybe we take a series!

Nice bounce back outing for Chafin

The best thing he did was throw enough strikes. Two of the three outs were rocked pretty hard

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nice to see a sweep that should’ve been a sweep.  if burnes comes back online the big three will be back like 2021.

3-3 is the absolute ceiling next week.     That’s winning one series between the red hot rangers and dodgers.    I’m guessing it will be worse than that

lets hope the cubs don’t maul the White Sox and royals next week

we will see what the brewers are made up of in the next couple of weeks

I'll be optimistic and say 6-0 is the absolute ceiling next week. Dodgers and Rangers just haven't had to face the Brewers.

Why not 10-0 then?
