Baseball is such a fun game, right? The Twins suck against LHP but manage to get to Miley and shorten his start. So the Brewers then string together 143 singles and blow the game open in a single inning.

Such a silly game, this is.

Today should be fun. Burnes is Burnes, he should be great. But in the other dugout is a revitalized Kenta Maeda, who returned from Tommy John, then a minor injury, and now has a 2.68 ERA in the ten starts since.

Don't expect a lot of scoring in this one.

I'll let AI do the work:

In Milwaukee's realm, the Brewers shine so bright,
Their victories are a symphony of might.
With every swing, they claim the field,
Their dominance and power are truly revealed.

But alas, up north, the Twins do wallow,
Their efforts feeble, their hopes so shallow.
A sorry sight, a team adrift,
In the Brewers' shadow, they struggle to lift.

The Brewers' glory, a dazzling display,
Their prowess leaves the Twins in dismay.
A champion's spirit courses through their veins,
While the Twins' failures persist like chains.

So let the world know of the Brewers' fame,
Their excellence in every single game.
As for the Twins, well, what can I say?
Their struggles continue, day by day.

You can slowly see confidence building in the team.     If we can get the win today.    That’s 5 straight against the rangers and twins with our rivals haven’t gaining anything for approx two weeks or so

Great, technical difficulties...

Yep, same. I guess I'm watching the Mariners instead today.

Might not want to watch it anyway. Burnes  is off to a rough start.

I don’t see how anyone can be sitting in the sun today.

The seats for our 10 pack are in the sun until about 3 PM, and when it’s really hot and sunny I’ll sit further back in the shade until the shade reaches our seats. Fortunately between night games, 3 PM games, and early season games with the roof closed I don’t have to do that too often. But I can guarantee I wouldn’t be sitting in the sun today.

He clearly made it in time, but someone might want to remind Contreras that when there is a chance for outs on the bases behind you it’s a good idea to hustle across the plate.

Knowing the temps and such today I parlayed Burnes and Maeda under 18.5 outs. Just felt like there was no way either is making it past 6 innings.

When I saw the heat index I started thinking about Corbin's dizzy spell or whatever that was earlier this summer.  Hopefully he's well hydrated.
