The pitching is better but they have a good lineup and ours is comparable to Oakland and KC.

We all talk about lackluster performances but this offense is just not good and thats not changing. Unless the pitching throws a shutout we are going to be in tight games nearly every night.

Burnes throwing all of his pitches around the same velocity isn't an opinion. An opinion would be Burnes throws his cutter too much and his breaking balls not enough. If I heard you say that Burnes struggles because he throws all of his pitches the same velo in a bar I would absolutely laugh and call it out for being utter nonsense. 

So tired of people making up stuff on this board as irrefutable fact and then crying when the utter nonsense gets called out.

I bet Brandon Woodruff and his max-min velo diffence of 96 and 83 also throws his pitches the same velo and struggles because of it.

Careful , I said that earlier and got shut down ( not rudely ) even after that I still think the pitching is closer than our experts think !

Vinny, don’t try to tell us that Burnes pitched well except for a couple of  mistakes. When you give up 2 crushed hone runs and 5 ripping extra base hits to one of the worst hitting teams in the league,  that’s a flat out bad outing.

It was interesting how the Yankees who haven't hit a lick called up their stud Dominquez and he has given them a spark. Brewers could have used a similar spark like Hiura or Black.

I watched the Cubs game today and they scored, what, 13 runs?  I wonder what that's like...

My biggest concern with Burns is he rarely uses the upper quadrants of the strike zone and guys can really change their focus points to mid thigh on down.

I think he would be more effective at times if he would break out some four seamers above the belt
