No, but it looks like it could be a significant delay. There are slow moving thunderstorms in the area with heavy rain.

Dang it.  This is my first chance to watch a game since Burnes vs Steele.

Cubs take a 1-0 lead. Bellinger hit a mile high popup with two out that the 2B and SS lost in the sun let drop and Hoerner scored from first.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Steele is having an incredible season, but my goodness does this dude groove so many pitches right down the middle. He tunnels his pitches extremely well and his FB has unnatural cut opposed to most FB having fade but man it's crazy seeing a guy get away with so many 92-93 mph pitches right down the heart of the plate.

It's mystifying how he gets away with it against major league hitters. And with only one other pitch really.

Saw someone say he's a rich man's Eric Lauer and it's not too far off. Just hard for me to see this success being long term with 2 pitches and not the best in zone command.

He gets helped by the ballpark, too. Getting helped by the wind today just like he did against the Brewers.

He's also now 40 IP over his previous career high and still has at minimum 3 more starts left in the regular season. Incredibly rare to see a pitcher jump in IP like this.

Gomes almost ended it, then got cut down trying for two when it went off the wall. Then madrigal followed with a double.

Rowdy's going to have Black breathing down his neck soon.

He doesn’t look like he’s even close. Just looks lost.
