Heya, get to go for the sweep while the Cubs keep losing to Arizona.

Like to hold to a four game lead today.   I looked at the cubs matchups next week and I don’t think they face a pitcher under a 5 era

I've basically given up hope whether the Brewers can wrap this up before the showdown with the Cubs in the last series of the year. The best I'm hoping for is that both teams have played well and are fighting for home field, not a postseason spot.

Yeah.   Then we can still set our rotation.    We need the big three pitching.      I like Miley but he can pitch in the nlcs for us

That is a solid way to handle the value of seeding, so still definitely some value to play for towards the end of the season.

Wow.    That’s better than I thought.   So there is somewhat of an advantage to winning division or being best wild card.    Ummmm.   Let’s plan on doing that

Yeah. The 3/4 seeds are basically indistinguishable for that reason. Both get a home series.

The only preference i have would be not having to face the Phillies.

I would rather have to face anyone else including the braves.

The cubs would kinda suck because they would have a bunch of fans here

You would think so, but the home team was 1-3 in the Wild Card series last year. Although the Cards and Blue Jays choked in spectacular fashion and the Mets were the Mets.

Hoping the Cubs play well? Yikes.

It was weird that I didn’t miss yelich yesterday.    I almost forgot about him

Frelick acquitted himself quite well in the leadoff spot. I could get used to seeing him there for a long time to come.

That is the essence of a three game series in baseball.  Almost any team can advance when you only need to win 2 of 3.

Donaldson not in the lineup for Nashville today……..make of that what you will……🤷‍♂️

Don't let him steal A.M. Sterio's presence!

Will be interesting to see who is available in the bullpen after two straight games of short starts.

Best case scenario is Burnes goes seven, then Payamps for one and Williams for one.  Not envisioning another 8-9 run outburst with Cole starting.

If Burnes struggles, might have to see Chafin and Vieira.

The division winner gets the home FIELD advantage but not necessarily home CROWD advantage.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
