My thought on this is, you bring up Donaldson and move Monasterio to 2B, replacing Turang.

Don't mess with Monasterio's ju-ju.  Leave him at 3B and let him keep comfortable.

That was hilariously predictable.

You misspelled "disgustingly" before "predictable." Chafin has got to go. (I'd rather see Hiura pitch!)

He’s an excellent manager, I don’t really understand the rising animosity toward him among fans.

This didn't age well.  lol

Sorry, had to do it.

He is an excellent manager, until he isn't, and using Chafin in that situation was NOT an excellent decision.  We all knew it, except Craig.

Where is the new guy who looked pretty good the other day. It's not possible that  Counsell forgot he's here is it?

Why can't relief pitchers throw more than one inning?

If this was a 17 game stretch during the middle of the season I can understand the reasoning but not now when the dust has settled (within reason) on the Wild Card/Division races.  Simply poor.  The only explanation is that we are without other arms in the pen.

Milner, Peguero, Viera, or even Megill or Wilson for the third day were all ahead of Chafin on my list of options.

Bernie Brewer would be a better option.

If we are without any other arms, who pitches the 13th?  Chafin for another inning?  Might as well give him the chance for the loss.

Well who are they going to throw out there in the 13th?
