If this was a 17 game stretch during the middle of the season I can understand the reasoning but not now when the dust has settled (within reason) on the Wild Card/Division races.  Simply poor.  The only explanation is that we are without other arms in the pen.

Brewers’ “Lowest Man on the Bullpen Depth Chart” this season has been dreadfully bad. Don’t expect much from that spot, but it seems to be just a bunch of kerosene cans down there in that position.
