With Jackson now one step away from the show, thought it might be fun to have a thread predicting when (month/day/year/opponent) our "generational" prospect gets the call, and then look back and see how close everyone gets. Should definitely be a spectacle as memorable as Prince/Ricky/Brauny's call-ups. Perhaps even surpassing them.

I think there's an argument for him making the team out of ST next year a la, Jordan Walker, but I have a hard time seeing it as likely given our depth in the OF. My official prediction is his MLB debut comes at home on Friday June 14th against the Reds, following an off-day to get him settled and get everyone hyped up/sell tickets. Anybody have a different day (or even year) in mind?

And for a trip down memory lane:

Fun thread. I’m thinking a little earlier and will say at home against the Cardinals on May 9, which is the start of a 7 game homestand. I agree it’s unlikely he’ll make the OD roster.

This is going to sound silly, but if you've got a guy on the bench that never plays, why not DFA Anderson and get him up here to at least experience a pennant race?  Hell, he can even play when we clinch.

My prediction:  Next Monday

Should it be in blue?  You decide.

Chourio will be brought up and his hall of fame career will commence!

Friday, July 26 at home vs. Miami following an off day allowing for the hype/ticket sales as someone already mentioned (hopefully Sandy Alcantara or Eury Perez on the mound, both of which he has had success off of already).  Chourio will be the big-time deadline “acquisition”.  Now that I’ve said this, he’ll be in Milwaukee for the series against Chicago next weekend.

All I know is that if Quero and Churio debut in the same game, then we’ll all be Democrats . . .

. . . because it will be Jefferson-Jackson Day.

I'm increasingly thinking we're going to see Chourio on OD, pending his ST performance....

The reason? The PPI and the fact that Chourio is probably right now the odds-on favorite to win NL ROY.

Yeah, I had somewhat forgotten about the potential first round pick if he makes the OD roster and then win ROY. I am going to change my guess to Opening Day. The potential for an extra first is worth an incredible amount to a team like Milwaukee.
