Game 5: Packers @ Raiders - Monday, October 9th 7:15 PM

I think Love is ok. Not beating the world, not awful, just ok. There is just not much going his way either. A bad offensive line, the best player on the team has been hurt all year, there isn't a viable backup RB. No veteran receiver to make things easy. MLF...maybe not that great? I'm not sure.

I will be a little more concerned if we get to the end of this season and things don't look better on the eye test. I didn't think they'd be too hot this year anyway. No substitute for real game action...I am willing to wait a few months.

I was joking. should have put it in blue

Very inconsistent. He has times when he really looks good and other times when he looks completely incapable.

don't disagree with Andy Herman or he will block you.

I do think a healthy Aaron Jones makes a world of difference though. You can't do anything outside the tackles with Dillon.

I knew this was going to be a transition year … even a rebuilding year … but what a boring, conservative game plan by the offense - that is on LeFluer

112 yards of offense & no passing yards to speak of … terrible response to the Detroit beat down

Losing to the Raiders would be a low point & would alter my hopes of winning enough games to sneak into the playoffs

The team I’m watching tonight … as well as last week … is NOT worthy of a playoff opportunity

Not sure why the offensive line forgot how to block or even play football

Overall - we look unprepared & poorly coached

Extremely disappointing once again

All but one of their TEs and WRs are first or second year players.  I wonder how much of it is on Love, how much of it is the inexperience of the WRs/TEs, how much is MLF trying to do things that are too complicated for first/second year players.

Whoa there big guy. Slow down! I'll take 7 yards.

My first thought when he picked it was "only way its going to be 10-10 is if this is a pick 6".

Handing the ball off on 4th and 2 to one of the worst RBs around probably isn't the way I would have gone, but they thankfully got it.

Sometimes when things look so bad the more complicated they try to get, it's probably a good idea to just simplify and go downhill

Touchdown, so, touche.

I have been very critical of Dillon but the wrap on him has always been that he needs a lot of touches to get going. 30-35 was normal for him at BC. The spelling they usually do with him was never really his thing though at this level you have to figure out what they're giving you.

Glad to see him do something though.

Part of me is thinking the coaching staff doesn't trust the offense.  Trying too much cute stuff, throwing short on third and long, heck throwing short on third and 3, and just not even really attempting anything beyond 5 yards so far in this game.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I mean I get that they are not going to be the Kansas City Chiefs but they have young talent across the board and you have to take the Huggies off and let it fly for better or worse at some point.

His best games his rookie year were similar to that, too - volume carries that eventually led to some big runs in the 2nd half.
