I’m looking forward to this one. Some hype around this series nationally due to the Jackson’s. (well as much hype as April baseball can drum up).  Hopefully ours outshines theirs.

What an awesome early season series! The two best prospects in baseball squaring off against each other, Jackson vs Jackson. Also two of the best records in baseball thus far. Baseball seems to be trending younger in general, which is great for organizations like the Brewers and Orioles. There will be a ton of young talent on display this weekend and I can't wait!

My son and I are going to the game tonight. Love the new baseball schedule playing every team each year. Living in Maryland it was a long stretch since Milwaukee had been in town, now every other season is great. Young talented teams should make for some exciting baseball. Go Crew!!

Fun memory - my wife & I tried to guess when Robin Yount (my all-time favorite player) would get his 3000th hit … we missed it by one game, but we saw hit # 3001 at Camden Yards on 9/12/92. Jaime Navarro pitched a complete game shutout & the Brewers won 5-0. My wife was pregnant with our first child Josiah who turns 31 on 4/19 (Molitor & Yount Day).  That is my only trip to Baltimore. What a beautiful ballpark.

Actually Younts' 3000th came in Milwaukee, vs Cleveland.

Several family members were there. I had to work.☹️

I would have lost that bet - thanks for that tidbit of helpful information

I forget where I saw this but Yount had 2999 hits going into the game where he hit #3000 (duh). The date was 9/9/92 which is 2999 backwards. Nice memory peg.

I was there for 2998, 2999 and finally 3000 as he did them one hit per game. Going home after the game, told my buddy I'd go see Molitor's 3000th hit four years from that day. He did it four years and 7 days later but I still went to KC to see it.
