Signed:

  1. Wade Miley
  2. Joe Ross
  3. Jakob Junis
  4. Colin Rea (he technically was a FA on 11/1/23 and resigned on 11/2/23)

Traded for:

5. DL Hall

They literally signed or traded for an entire starting rotation.

You’re correct

I wasn’t clear

1, 2, & 3 on your list are all injury prone

Relief pitchers should not come in and walk people. Anyone on this chat board can do that.

And it's going to cost them big time.

Yelich has the 4-3’s like he does when he’s in a slump.

You have to question how Weimer got to this point with his mechanics. I coach JV baseball and he couldn't play for me.

Come on man! Weimer hit .269/.359/.489 in 1110  at bats in the minors. Hit for power, can run, throw, and play CF. The swing is what got him those numbers and to the major leagues at 24 years old.

I get what you’re saying but the converse is also true:, if a kid with that kind of talent couldn’t play for you, then you’re not the right coach for the job.

Same deal with the Brewers, the talent is there they need somebody to get it out of him at the major league level.

My basic point is there was zero chance he would have success at this level with his mechanics. Just because he was hitting in minors someone had to say son this isn't going to work.

As you know, there is a massive gulf in quality of pitching between AAA and the majors.

As I like to say guys in the minors are throwers not pitchers and eventually crappy mechanics will be exposed in the show.
