We are what we are!

We are an excellent Division 3 (small-market) team!

Come on MLB, even the payrolls -OR- give us 3 champions, one for each division:  Division 1 (large market), Division 2 (medium market), and Division 3 (small market).

Otherwise, we can never be more than pretenders in the current baseball financial structure!

I know why Counsell left ...

But the cubs are a .500 team so far. He left for the money.

Brian, the point is the Cubs potential to be a great team is far greater than it is for the Brewers to be a great team, BECAUSE they can pay big moola to stars and we can't.

Unless they get bit by the injury bug the Phillies are the team to beat in the NL and I don't think it's even close. The dodgers don't have the pitching staff that the Phillies do.

This series proves that division leaders are not created equal. We're not even close to being as good as the Phillies.

Somebody has to call out the insanity of getting guys thrown out at the plate every single night. It is completely ridiculous. What is happening?

Fourth out at home this series and 12th(?) overall.

Most in baseball. Maybe automatically going to home anytime anyone puts the ball in play is dumb?

That pisses me off.  He would have been safe if not for the catchers foot.

If Adames is your cleanup hitter you are two bats short. He should be hitting 6. The mountain of guys lob is crazy.

Should not slide head first into home imo.

Especially when runs are far and few between! Sorta get it , but it hasn't worked. Time change our thought process.

I wonder what it's like to have a pitcher throw seven innings, or six for that matter.

We are being held together with duct tape.

So, the Brewers have the most runners thrown out at home in MLB with 12. That’s about 1 every 5 games.

What they don’t say is what is the norm for other teams. If everyone (or almost everyone) has like 8 or more, that difference seems pretty insignificant.

And when runners thrown at the plate are on force outs, like Turang’s DP the other day, that has nothing to do with insane baserunnjng.

This could be a stat that says nothing about the team’s phiosophy.

Phillies are going to win a 3 game series scoring 6 runs.

A testament to our bullpen rotation we threw at them this series!

Adames is 1 for 13.

He ranks right up there in the Pantheon of streaky Brewer hitters.

Part of that is the extreme launch angle where when your timing gets even a few milliseconds off nothing good happens.

Dominant Big Market pitching will always win these games.

This whole series has been stupid.

Phillies seem to have as good, if not better defense, than the Brewers do, if these three games are any indication.

It's okay though because he has an insignificant record to break.

Rickey Henderson led the league in caught stealing 5 times...the amount of outs means nothing in a vacuum.
