And Contreras takes the collar again.

Contreras hit one absolute rocket for an out to left center.   Don't recall his others off top my head

Great win…one big swing and a whole lot of solid pitching.  How many games has the bullpen not given up anything? Seems like it happens all the time!

1.71 ERA, 17/18 saves.  Megill getting some All Star consideration?

Brewers probably get 3 guys, whether Turang or Megill is 3rd one depends on how roster falls I think.

Either him or Hudson (0.84 ERA | NL best +2.65 WPA) should be there to represent the pen.

Relievers tend to get a few extra late calls too when starters drop out.    I'd probably say Hudson should get in and then Megill on the short list when replacements are needed.  But I know non-closers get overlooked so its more likely the other way around

When does Chourio enter in the conversation for ROY?

He’s got a ways to go…..but more importantly he’s figuring it out and getting better and better.

If his July is like his June

Gotta be Hudson…. If I’m Hudson, I’d say if I don’t get it this season, I never will because I’ll never have these types of numbers again.
And Koenig has been just behind these guys…maybe. 1.66ERa 1 Whip 7 wins…so many times getting key outs mid game.

Yea his numbers are still not great, another month and he's probably the #2 hitter though?   Gonna be tough to catch the pitchers this year though.    And if not aware Jackson Merril on SD is just as hot if not hotter than Chourio, and he was much better to start the year so he's well ahead right now for hitters.

Vinny and Craig do a nice postgame….Vinny is just thrilled with the team like us all, and you hear it in his voice. Good role for him.
