Calling Hoskins dumpster diving is certainly a take.

No kidding. That one about left me speechless.

DFA Chourio.

You can't risk your health like that. Send him down.

Not to mention he looks like he’s having fun. Put a stop to that.
And now he homers. Show off.

Are we really going to make the argument that Jackson hitting higher in the order would make no difference as someone did yesterday.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I hope nobody said this.

If you say so. If Hoskins was not coming off an ACL tear with plenty of question marks about him, with a career OPS+ of 122 he wouldn’t be playing in Milwaukee on a short term deal.

They shopped in the bargain bin/dumpster dove and seemingly got burned. Unless of course Hoskins manages to go on a tear here over the final 65+ games.

@Joseph Zarr can probably attest to this, but after Chourio made that great grab in LF to end the inning, I was honestly expecting a big moment at the plate (not necessarily a 440ft HR). In the minors he seemed to thrive in big moments.

Bryce swings at two ball fours BUT with this ump they likely were two strike 3's. Tough sledding up there.

I still say the single biggest improvement they can make to the game right now is either an automated strikes zone or a challenge system.

Now that he's comfortable and relatively adapted? Absolutely. Obviously, it's baseball, so it's not going to happen every time. BUT, he showed (very early, mind you) he is made for big moments. He is just different.

And, still...

Send him down. No wait. We should have sent him down in May, right? How does this work?

Don't get me started on ABS. Yuck. LOL.

Challenge system? 24/7; 365. 100%.
