He didn’t actually get put in his place at all though. He just got in the head of an NFL head coach for all to see. It makes us look mentally weak and distracted. Then our guys go out on the field and lose the mental game there, too.

If he actually got kicked out as a result of it, great. I didn’t hear that reported anywhere, though.

I’d feel the same in reverse if Campbell was out jawing at fans at Lambeau, we’d be in his head.

He did get kicked out, he is a season seat holder, and this was not his first time down on the field, but you can guarantee it will be his last. When nobody cares about this fart of a story in a week, he'll regret that. Matt LaFluer will probably never think about it again and didn't until he was asked about it.

Also appears to have the IQ of a potato.

Also, is there any bigger drama queen than Zadarius Smith and his "revenge" tour?

My gosh dude. You got a ton of money and opportunity to come here. You played well for awhile, got hurt, got older, the team was getting older and resetting, and so a business decision was made and they moved on. Then the Vikings and Browns both made business decisions to trade you, so you think you'd understand how it works by now.

Spare me your repeated victim speeches.

The Lions used to be kind of a cool "feel-good" story of a lowly long downtrodden team who finally turned things around. Somehow they've already gotten to the arrogant blowhard stage of thinking you're untouchable and superior, without even actually going through the stage of even accomplishing anything first. Ask the 49ers how guaranteed anything is. They were pretty much the standard of the last 10-12 years of being the "team to beat", and they have zero rings to show for it.

I'm ready for their era to be over before it even begins. Yes, we know, the Lions' players want to run through a brick wall for Dan Campbell. You tell us every single week.

Lol. I couldn't agree more. I told everyone this was going to happen last year, prior to the NFCCG. Most here wanted Detroit to win. I did not, because I know once they win the Super Bowl they will be insufferable, and people are glossing over it, particularly Packers fans, because they have always been bad. Well, they seem to have circumvented winning the Super Bowl, and have just gone straight to the annoying stage.

I did want them to win at the time, but in hindsight now, I’m so glad they pissed it away. The 49ers are also near the bottom of my least favorite NFL franchises, so that says a lot.

I think the part that Lions fans are trying to either ignore, or live in denial about, is the fact that there are still warning signs out there of the “same old Lions” just dying to get out. They blew a huge lead in the NFCCG. They just pissed away a huge 2nd half lead at home against the Bears! They only survived because the Bears did what they do.

They blew a large lead against us in minutes. That game was wire to wire in the second half, blow for blow. Yet they come out of that game as arrogant as ever, like they were so much better.

If we don’t get a shot at them next month, I’d love to see someone like Geno freaking Smith beat them 31-28 while they yap. Short of that, I even hope Philly puts them in their place.

I don’t know if the Lions recall or not, but about this time last year the Cowboys looked absolutely unstoppable.

Yeah, at least Saints fans waited until winning the Super Bowl to be huge douche nozzles.

The phrase “act like you’ve been there before” seems to apply to the Lions this year, but in fairness, they haven’t, so maybe that’s the problem.

It would appear Musgrave is back off of IR?

I would have gotten this in to y'all sooner but, to honor this transactional news, I took a poor angle and then tripped and fell on the way to my laptop. I hope you understand.

Sorry, but we are going to have to put you on IR for 4 weeks. We will check on your health then and allow you voice to text when healthy enough.  After a week of evaluations to ensure your wit wasn't warped by the fall, we will put you on full forum responsibilities...just in time for spring training and the NFL playoffs.  😂

This whole Devondre Campbell ordeal is very strange.

Pretty ironic that he refused to take the field because of a lack of playing time and now will probably never play another down of football again. The guy seems like a classic malcontent, given what happened in Green Bay also, although we never heard the Packers' side of the story.

The Packers should probably just shut Jaire down with next to zero chance to improve their seed anyway. Get him some light work the last game of the season maybe.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, and found it surprising they had him practice in full mid-week after the Lions loss virtually locked us into the wildcard.

I was relieved that they shut him down yesterday, citing his speed numbers and not a behavior or knee setback problem. I think they’re going to do what they can do for him to be ready in January. It is the smart play.

You can't fully shut him down.  Of course he needs to be practicing (when healthy).... he should also get some game time the last couple of games to prevent being rusty.  The last thing you want is a healthy, but out of game-shape Jaire starting in the playoffs.  There is a balance in there to keep him healthy, but ready to play.

There’s only 1 remaining scenario where the Packers can win the NFC North - Acme Packing Company

That’s right, the singular path for the Packers winning the NFC North is as follows:

  • The Packers must win out
  • The Lions and Vikings must go winless in Weeks 16 and 17
  • The Lions and Vikings must tie in Week 18

It just occurred to me that with Rhyan and Enagbare stepping up this year the Packers now have 6 starters (Quay, Watson, Rhyan, Doubs, Tom, Enagbare, and RWalker) from the 22 draft. And Wyatt probably gets more snaps than the starter Slaton. Especially impressive since they probably would like to extend 4-5 of those guys and the team is 10-4 with Super Bowl aspirations. Nice job Gutes!

As expected, next week's Vikings game has been flexed to the late afternoon slot. I honestly thought it would be the SNF game.

It couldn't be flexed to SNF, there's a rule that every division game must appear once on the main conference's network, which is FOX for the NFC.  Since the first Packers/Vikings game was on CBS this one couldn't get flexed off of FOX.

A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once.

The Packers should play their stars on Sunday, compete to win, and beat the stupid Vikings. Win that game, and the young guys won’t just think they can beat anybody, they’ll know they can—anywhere, anytime. They’ll be going into January playing their best ball, and nobody in the NFC field will want to draw them.

I don’t just want a win for seeding, and not even just for pride. I want it for psychological dominance. I want this team to be a screaming-hot, 13-win wild card ballistic missile on a mission.

Beating the Vikings will give them a great psychological advantage come the playoffs.

And this week the Packers are both my first and second (whoever plays the Vikings) favorite teams.

There are absolutely undeniably few better things in NFL football than beating the Queens in Minnesota on their turf. Hands down. Shutting down the 'Skol' chants is a bucket list feat for any Green Bay Packer. Man, when I lived in the Twin Cities I went to a significant amount of Packer vs Queens tilts at the then Metrodome. It was a grueling experience every single time. I may have added several a gray hair to muh beard in those experiences alone.

I agree, and know every season is different, but i think the key players on this roster already know this no matter what happens in Minnesota based on last season when they walked into vikingland and embarrassed the Vikings in a win to get in game and then a couple weeks later destroyed a 2 seed cowboys team who had been dominating opponents at home all year.

That being said, it would be refreshing to send Vikings fans back to the reality awaiting them in the playoffs a couple weeks early

Heard a rumor the issue is that Jaire doesn't want to play but he is cleared by the docs.
