Yoho flashes the leather. My goodness. Look at this pick up on a comebacker. Well, nevermind. The screen capture isn't going to do it justice. My back pulled watching it.

Well, with the game in a 2-2 count. Two down. Man on 2nd. The telecast went to a 'Thank You for Watching' screen. I'm going to assume Yoho got that last out. LOL. Shuckers win 6-1?

Indeedly do! It would appear he got McIntosh with a punch out from that 2-2 count. Cutting out a pitch or two early is absolutely par for my MiLB.TV viewing experience in 2024. To the gills. Heck of a day for the Brewers org! Woot woot.

Craig Yoho in 2024

A+ - 20.1 IP, 0.44 ERA, 48% K-rate, 8% BB-rate, 0.84 WHIP+HBP, 45% whiff rate, 44% CSW

AA -  21 IP, 1.29 ERA, 47% K-rate, 8% BB-rate, 1.05 WHIP+HBP, 42% whiff rate, 39% CSW.

Full season - 41.1 IP, 0.87 ERA, 47% K-rate, 8% BB-rate, 0.94 WHIP+HBP, 44% whiff rate, 41% CSW

Surely it's time this dude get's promoted to AAA, right?

Absolutely.  He's 24 years old on top of those insane stats.  Get him to Nashville.

I honestly forgot that Luis Castillo is 20 for this entire season. He's kind of playing himself into prospect status. Corner OF only profile, but he actually has solid contact rates for a guy with seemingly above average to plus power output.

That's the thing. At 24 you would think he'd be on a faster track as long as the performance is there, which it obviously is. Maybe when some smoke clears after 8/1?

I think it's because he doesn't need to be added to the 40-man yet.  Unless it's an emergency, or he's viewed as clearly better than any other option, best to not add him unless they need to.  There's enough of a 26/40-man crunch right now.

Plus, you don’t need to carry him on the 40 in the offseason, giving them more flexibility there.

But he can help them win now with his potential K-power out of the pen.

Imo, this team’s best chance to get to the postseason and win when they get there is thru bullpen dominance

I agree re 40-man. Just talking about him being bumped a level to AAA. The more experienced, AAAA-types might give him a little better challenge AFA taking tough pitches & sharpening the location & command even further.
