Bringing in a starter in the 7th inning with runners on base.  I don't like this.

Also, it's September and there is a bullpen's worth of MLB-calibur relievers in AAA.

Who would you send down? This isn’t September rosters in the past where you could have 40 people on the roster

This is a team that really could have benefited this year from the old September roster expansion rules. We'd probably be using a 34, 35 man roster right now, there'd be no running out of arms.

That is just a dang good at bat by Schwarber, a seasoned veteran of fall baseball right there. Nothing but respect for that.

Somewhat less respect from me because he was a cub.

94 in the other batter box and he gets it through the hole with the runners moving.

Indeed. My point being, as much as I love our baby Brewers, and this offense is absolutely rejuvenated this year, I think we’re going to need a little more of the Schwarber approach sprinkled in if we’re going to get where we want to go.

By swinging at pitches way outside the strike zone?  I will have to remember to quote this when everyone is whining about Adames swinging at a pitch out of the zone.

Swarber shortened his stroke and made sure he hiy the ball. Adames likes to try to homer on those outside pitches.
