That is the softest roughing penalty I've ever seen.

Barnes tries to jump over him! I'll take it, but man, that's...ridiculous!

You don’t touch the QBs head, the NFL says no.

I did not see Evan Williams being this impactful a player coming into this season.

No, I definitely didn't either.

Amazing how many people on Twitter(who I follow) talked about how much they loved Evan Williams before the draft!

What in the hell was that? Van Ness gets pulled to the ground and HE gets called for a holding?

That's the most ridiculous call I've seen in a while.

Yeah, the officiating has left something to be desired today.

Evan Williams is like Cooper - always seems to be making an impact.  This draft is looking pretty solid

And they both know how tackle. Those 2 should coach Packer defense h tackling rather than their D. Coaches.

All the same, you can't miss a kick every single game.

You also can't judge kickers on a game-by-game basis, or all of them will eventually fail.

Good thing Narveson has only missed a kick in four of six games then.

Not only was the officiating poor (right off the bat, there was an obvious pass interference they missed, the announcers were terrible too.  I normally like Darryl Johnston, but wow was he bad today.  The talked about various aspects of Reed's punt return and flags before someone must've alerted him to the fact that Reed fumbled... Complaints about flags that were legit flags... Just a bad day for him.

And I agree with the others on Cooper and Williams.  Really strong play from both.

Very strong all-around game.  Gary didn't make much of a pass rush, but impacted other parts of the game.  Doubs had a nice come-back game.  OL was strong, but AZ's pass rush is minimal too

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I think you need to look at at the pass rush dependent upon what the DC is attempting to accomplish. With QBs such as Murray, Richardson, Hurts, Allen and Daniel’s for example most DCs design their pass rush to maintain lanes to keep them inside the pocket. Where as with QBs with less rushing skill they can go all out with sacking as their goal. In 3 of 6 games this season the Packers have faced an elite rushing QB, so their sack totals should be somewhat depressed.

Alright, how about judging him by his league worst conversion %?

This early in the season?

Look at the players who are at the top of FG% this season.  McLaughlin (100%) - 7th team, 71% in 2021, 78% in 2019, waived or released eight times.  Grupe - 2nd year, 81% last year.  Bates - kicks in a dome, had to go to the UFL/XFL/whatever first.  Reichard - rookie who kicks in a dome.  Folk - 78% in 2012, 77% in 2011, 77% in 2010, 64% in 2009.  Prater - 74% in 2008, 76% in 2011, 75% in 2020.  Boswell (94%) - 65% in 2018, 75% in 2022.  Seibert (94%) - fifth team, 67% (released after going 6 of 9) in 2020, 60% (waived after going 3 of 5) in 2022.

It's almost like there's some variance or randomness to FG%.

at the end of the day, it's a results oriented job and the results are pretty easy to measure: you miss too many kicks you gotta go. I understand patience with a young kicker and I really do think his issue can be fixed but a team with championship aspirations has to be willing to cut ties sooner than later. I'd give him two more weeks - reality is they'll probably give him one. I was encouraged to see him hit that second one from the left hash yesterday.
