Little tidbit here- LHP Joey Broughton’s current timeline is 100% effort bullpens in early July, live BP sessions in late July and game action sometime in August which would mean a pro debut with the Mudcats.

The Brewers have signed RHP Fausto Charbel Barreras to a minor league contract out of the Carlos Elizalde Baseball Academy in Mexico.  He currently works in the low 90’s with his fastball, but his best pitch is a hammer curveball.  He will be assigned to one of the DSL squads.

Brewers sign 18-year-old 6'3" Dominican Republic native RHP Bryan Regalado and assign him to DSL Brewers Gold. He initially inked his contract May 27th. He'll be making his pro debut when he first takes the mound.

Hell yeah. Any word on Knoth? Pretty sure they (Him, Broughton, and Robinson) all went down at the same time last year.

Didn’t Knoth pitch all last season and presumably was an offseason surgery?

And was there an update on Galindez recently- I can’t seem to find that post if there was one, or I imagined an update. Anyone recall?

Looked it up and Knoth went into early August. My bad, remembered it as June/July.

For those unaware, RHP Josh Knoth (33rd overall pick, 2023) underwent Tommy John surgery around New Year’s 2025.

RHP Yorman Galindez is full go off of the mound and will be facing live hitters this coming week.  His return to game action seems to be just around the corner!

Found it. Hopefully we get some updates and see him game action soon.

I looked through the last couple pages, but apologies if I'm missing this having been posted already.

Looks like the Brewers also signed 18-year-old 6'1" Dominican Republic native RHP Derlin Garcia and assigned him to DSL Brewers Gold as well.

Garcia's Instagram

Regalado's Instagram is here, for good measure.

Unfortunately, Galindez experienced a setback not long after that last update.  At this point, he is three weeks out from throwing live to hitters.

RHP Edwin Jimenez is a little further along as the current belief is that he will be ready to return to game action within the next two weeks.

Do you know what happened to Edwin?  He's been injured for just over a year now.  Curiously, he is not listed on any minor league roster that I can fine.  Assume that is an oversight, but it is odd.

I believe it was a non-TJ elbow surgery that was supposed to be a shorter recovery than Tommy John.

LHP Brandon Knarr is hoping to get back on the mound this fall and could be a candidate to join the handful of Brewers farmhands that participate in the Arizona Fall League.

No mention of how long he is suspended?

I'm listening to Rattler Monday. I would imagine the Dorchies promotion, tho obviously well-deserved in and of itself, is also somewhat mandated by the T-Rats suddenly having only 11 available pitchers w Yerlin's unknown suspension. Gillis and Rund are eligible to come off the 7-Day IL but Mehring clearly didn't think either were ready to come right off the IL. The problem I have is I don't think there is a Mudcat worthy of a High-A promotion out of their pitching stables. Perhaps, with Woessner's re-assignment they actually have 12? And they'll just roll with it. Anywho, some borderline relevant thoughts.
