The Brewers won the FIRST game of a series instead of just the third.

The Brewers gained one game on the Cubs in one day. At that rate, they will be ahead of the Cubs in the standings by Sunday.

3 in a row and Logan Henderson is looking like a stud. With CarRod getting a start and Misi balling out the future looks bright. Hopefully Woody and Civale can come back strong and our pitching will carry us until we can get Yeli and the left side of the IF right.

Ok  I said that if they could take 1-3 I will start get an optimistic they handed to Philly tonight. Yeli is hitting the ball hard and getting his power stroke. Great pitching effort by Prister and Hall

Despite his struggles Yelich is almost on a 30/30 pace this season.

Everything is starting to look up pitching is getting healthy and now the entire pen essentially got 2 days off. In the last 10 games Durbin brought his average from .159 to .213 and Yeli .184 to .220 in 7 games (with power). 

Has there been any Mitchell or Perkins updates? I feel like both should be on rehab like last week by initial timelines.

Yeah, Collins has +3 DRS | +3 FRV in only 216 innings so far. Obviously extrapolating small sample defensive metrics is a fool's errand (but hey this is the Optimism Thread) so that's like a +15 to +20 kind of pace over a full season of innings.

Either way, playing defense like that and adding value on the bases (+0.4 BsR) is how you end up with 0.5 WAR in 115 PAs as a corner outfielder with a 83 wRC+.
