It's only money. Who are they paying besides Yelich? Hoskins is getting paid 2/3 of Adames salary.

I should say, no way we could afford him given how the Brewers tend not to spend money.

Hall more than month away. Not sure Ashby has an ETA.

I appreciate Cortes is more of a coin toss and Civale had a setback. Who know with Woodruff.

I don’t mean to be a Negative Nellie but I’m not sure Cortes will pitch again this year

I will be surprised if he doesn’t end up with a Tommy John surgery

I believe he has the same injury he had late last season

I don't know the medical stuff, but smart people say that kind of injury usually means TJ surgery. And this is the second time for Cortes with that injury?

I hope Durbin is a six year stud …

I hope Brewers continue to learn that there is no substitute for a real big league player. Quintana signing is huge. Going cheap at third is an example. To win you need a big league player at every spot and one on the mound.

The brewers have become a welfare plan for pitchers.     It’s ridiculous.    Pitchers need to start pitching.   It’s literally in the name.

I will miss tomorrow night’s game as I’m attending an out of town wedding with my wife

There is a good chance that my iPhone will allow me to glance at the game intermittently via the MLB app … if I’m stealth

The early returns say the front office got it right again by picking up Quintana.

And Quinn Priester … I thought his five innings of one run ball in his initial start was impressive too

Patrick. Alexander. Last year Myers.

I'm not saying you are wrong but I do think there has to be room to give guys chances. Some times they don't work out. Good to find out early and fix rather than late and panic.

The JABO movie highlights what a gamer Pete Vukovich was for the 1982 Brewers down the stretch & into the playoffs … going deep into games with a painful torn rotator cuff

Koenig makes me nervous. I’m going to pause the game & come back in 15 minutes. He hasn’t looked sharp in the early season - even if he has gotten good results.
