I don't think I've ever seen Frelick look as uncomfortable in an at-bat as he looked in that one. Just never had a shot.

Why the emphatic throw down from Contreras?

He wanted to drive in a run.

Stared that one down right into the strike zone.

Yeah, Yelich was totally guessing 3-2. Didn't guess right on that one. With runners on base in a 0-0 game, would have preferred a more aggressive guess there.

Zas vs. Machado is going to be an interesting choice.

Horrible choice.  There are certain match ups that should not happen even when playing the show. Murphy....

I swear the strike zone for some umpires just gets worse as the game goes on.  In the beginning it is very loose and then all of a sudden the last few innings it gets tighter and tighter to where pitches clearly in the strike zone get called a ball.

Is it really that bad to leave the prior pitcher in for one more batter, then go to the bullpen?

Am I missing something?

The radio guys were all over this one as well. Mentioned a few different times before the at-bat happened. It was an interesting move and then Machado hit it out.. I'm sure Murphy will have to answer for that one after the game if we lose.

Another dagger from Machado

I wish fans would give up on booing him. It just seems to motivate him.

I have a feeling Murphy will say he did that last game, and Peralta gave up two runners. Not saying I agree with it at all because I don't.

He did leave Uribe in to face Machado last night and he ripped a single.

Maybe leave Peralta in, pitch to him carefully and accept a walk.

I think we'll all take a single any day of the week against what happened.

I don't see how you let Ortiz hit there. You have 7 outs left.

We got nobody on the bench that can hit bauers wasnt an option pulling hoskins right there was stupid also

I was just pleased he didn't get doubled up, which says something.

If you still have a sub .500 OPS in June with full-time ABs, that is not ideal.
