You have to explain to me how Durbin is out against a lefty. Montesario probably won't play second ever again after the other day but jeez man. Just when Durbin and Ortiz start hitting now the cranky old guy starts messing with them.

1 run might be enough for L.A if Kershaw looks like this all day.

He is usually done after 5 innings this year.

With Edmon, Hernandez, and Muncy out injured and Smith having the night off the Dodgers lineup is not as potent as it can be.

Have to keep the Hall of Famers at the top of the order (and Pages) from killing you.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Our offense is being schooled tonight. Almost no hard contact at all. Dodgers have squared a few balls on Mis, for who he can't strike out. They're looking hitterish tonight while the Brewers do not. Still early.

Vaughn ties it up!

Cranky Old Man Murphy's lineup making Kershaw yell at his teammates. 2 runs for the Brewer lead. One more inning for Kershaw then he's cooked.

I don't mind Vaughn there. Less than 2 outs and getting to 3rd with this lineup against Kershaw is a good idea. It took a perfect throw from Conforto and it was still close. It happens.

Just last week you were calling for Ortiz to get benched because he was hitting .208

Rushing has a lot of gall being upset over that called third strike considering the calls his pitcher has been getting..

74 pitches, Ohtani leading off. Is Mis back for the 6th?

I would say yes but a short leash.

DH Woodruff.  He owns Kershaw.

Im sure I've told this story, but my wife and I went to game 1 of the NLCS in 18.   We both smoked at the time so I said to her in the middle of the 3rd, "Let's go smoke quick, we'll only miss the pitcher batting".

The crowd notified us that I had made a poor suggestion.
