I think if or when Hoskins comes back it's time to release Bauer.

He's not hitting right-handers well enough to keep him around as a left-handed only bat and Vaughn is just as good if not better defensively

Seigler will go before Bauers I would think .

Bauers is a trade candidate?

I mean, if he is it’s “cash considerations” or “minor league player you’ve never heard of”, and that’s fine.

The Miz gets emotional, I am so glad for him he deserves to be an all star.

Nice for him, but I have mixed feelings about someone with that little track record getting in over a more experienced player who has never had the chance.

I see it as MLB trying to publicize young players.

Similar to Skenes being SP last year after about 10 starts.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Its about fan and media popularity, how good you are and with a 2.80 ERA Miz should be in there.  I just hope he doesn't get a big ego because the Brewers only signed him to a one year contract I believe. That could come back and bite them in the ass bigtime.

It does seem like such a small sample size should be disqualifying. But he started his career with 11 no hit innings and beat Skenes and Kershaw and they want to draw eyeballs. He is almost sure to get an inning, I guess this will push him back in rotation and is a roundabout way of keeping his innings down. Happy for him, he is so fun to watch.

Vaughn actually has a better xwOBA than Hoskins this year and that was before tonight where it will be going up again. He was just one of the unluckiest hitters in MLB this year when he was on the Sox

I think anyone forced to be on the White Sox this year is one of the unluckiest hitters in MLB.

Not that I would expect it, but not impossible or unheard of to see guys be late bloomers or succeed with a change of scenery.

Not unheard of for players in bad organizations to get bad coaching.
