This ump is having a really, really bad night.  Getting ahead in counts with this stuff on balls just limits any sort of aggressive swings in hitters counts

In fairness on the Conteras at-bat, he called a bad strike and then called a ball on an obvious strike, so it evened out in that AB.

Offensively he could have used some time away , I wonder how reliant the pitching staff is on him.
