I thought that was gone off the bat...

105 EV with a 27 degree launch angle. That's pretty much how you want to hit it. Just the tiniest bit more carry needed.

Yelich scorched that ball. Like yesterday with Durbin’s deep fly ball to the warning track, that ball would have been a HR last year. Apparently, according to an article I read last week, fly balls travel 4’ shorter on average this year.

Kind of half focused on the soccer game right now, but it really is hard to see how these Marlins don't have a few more wins. Seems like a very competitive roster.

I’m a lifelong sports fan … but I’ve never watched a soccer match - live or on TV. I wasn’t even aware that “a” soccer match was being played today … much less “the” soccer match. I assume it is a big deal - but I’m clueless.

Same applies to hockey - although I did go to one professional hockey game when I lived in Houston many years ago. I’m not interested in either sport.

I didn’t let my kids play soccer or hockey … only baseball, football, basketball, tennis, & golf. 🤓

I love the original Bock “M” caps the Brewers are wearing in this series. Unfortunately, we are playing like the 1970 Milwaukee team.

We need a win today before the Cubs series.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

Amazing how everyone gets hot and cold on offense at the same time.

This is indeed fascinating & true. Here’s hoping we begin a hot streak today as we prepare for the Cubs series.

Joey’s .575 OPS just is not going to continue to cut it in the everyday lineup.

Yeah it's been a real problem. The times Joey has looked competent is when the Brewers were winning 2 out of 3, etc. No one else is really hitting except Jackson.

What a disappointing series for the Brewers

They aren’t as good as their record

They can’t afford to lose numerous games to under .500 teams & expect to be competitive in the playoffs

You would never know this team is in first place by watching this series or their last against Miami

Yeah, the Marlins have been tough on us this year, winning the Miami series notwithstanding.

This definitely feels like a big game. I'm just trying to balance myself out a little bit because I still the Cubs are the favorites in the division, and I expect it to be quite tough to win the division and get the bye. Obviously, I'd rather win the division than be a wild card team, but it doesn't matter TOO much if we're even the fifth or sixth seed versus the third. I think homefield is overrated and maybe even a pressure-adder, even though the revenue obviously helps.

I mean, you could go back 3 games earlier to have watched them win 12 of 13 that included 6 against the dodgers.  No team is going to win at a 0.800+ clip forever.

If the Brewers win today they split the season series against the marlins, who have been playing well for a prolonged time now.

Would be great to win today leading up to their next series, for sure....Lotta game left

Losing 4 out of 5 after the streak is giving back a lot of ground.
