These game threads are going to be interesting in the short term if they play bad this weekend

I don’t think people are going to have much patience if things start going downhill

Yeah I'm going to avoid the IGT for awhile. They are toxic enough as is and we have the best record in baseball. Can't imagine how they will be if we slip a bit here. Once the hurt of the trade deadline passes I'll find my way back..

I'm a little nervous not having Chourio in the lineup for an extended period of time.  Hopefully Contreras has found something after the Cubs series that he had.

Me also about Chourio but Perkins is a good fill in.

It's August 1st, and the Brewers have the best record in baseball. 5th in Runs Allowed, and 8th in Runs Scored. They have the deepest rotation in baseball, with quality at the top, so much so that starters are being turned into 3-inning save guys despite having a really good bullpen.

Their record is not a fluke. The Brewers ARE the bullies.

Can you imagine how frustrated the forum would be if any of those sentences were untrue? 🙂

We are the Honey Badger Team. The Honey Badger against an animal five times their size.

For what it's worth, those combined RA/RS ranks equal 13. That's also the lowest number (Cubs are 14, Detroit 15, NYY 18, PHL 19).

But, but, but exit velo...

Is Frelick healthy or not? Why take a guy off the IL if he's not ready to play every day?

Probably available off the bench and just being eased back in since it’s a LHP on the mound anyway.

This is a good post! 🙌🏼

I predicted that Ortiz would break out & be amazing in the middle 54 games of the season … I was wrong.

Hopefully, Ortiz breaks out & contributes in these final 54 games.

I hate that Chourio is on th IL - hope that is short term.

I’m excited to see what Lockridge can add to this talented roster.

Gasser may be a quality bullpen arm in a month or so too. Hopefully he & Shelby Miller get healthy & end the year strong.

Yeah, not a fan of that. Prior to going on the IL, he was playing pretty much every day vs. righty or lefty.  What they are basically saying is that he's not 100% but we took him off the IL anyway and are essentially playing with a less than 25 man roster.

I mean he’s been off the IL for like a week and playing every day since then.
