Want nothing to do with them in a short series if they have Abbott and a healthy Greene.  If you catch them in their second round and don’t have to start off facing those two they don’t seem as dangerous.

But if you think about it…….if we win the division and get a bye……they would be the 6 seed so they would play the division winner with the worst record…….would you rather they get the chance to take out the Dodgers or the Phillies in a short series and get them out?

I would……

Shutdown inning for Quintana

Can he go 7 or is that greedy?

I’d send him out there if he gets through the sixth with a five run lead

He has 80 pitches so it will be close.

Durbin is a graduate of the Coach Ernie Pantusso School of Hitting.

2 HBP tonight and 17 for the season.

Coach’s attitude was “Go ahead. Try and miss me”

Cheers.

Just passed Wilson Contreras for league lead……yet somehow has managed to avoid jawing with the opposition even once……

Yea would love to see them vs the Phils or Dodgers in a short series!  MLB playoffs so matchup dependent.  Never know if a team like the Reds has to fight right down to the wire they may not be able to line up their pitching for the first series.

Whoa, Quintana had some not-so-nice words for Pham, it appeared. I wonder what Pham said.

Pham is another in a long line of ex Cardinal douche nozzles..

Pham kind of pimped that flyball, but he's had some good swings tonight. I think he was surprised the ball didn't go out, as was I.

When things are going your way, they go your way.  That’s crazy, Quintana drops it and it bounces off the runners heel right to Vaughn.
