I don't know the current plans for Henderson but I believe he is eligible either tomorrow or the following day to come off of the IL. If they try to give us a doubleheader Wednesday I would rather throw Henderson and Woodruff and have Miz be a multi-inning guy out of the bullpen or something like that?

Don’t think there’s any room for Bauers on the roster anymore when he gets healthy.

Yeah, I don't want Murphy to be tempted to be starting him...Leave him in AAA in case of extreme emergency.

Would have to DFA him first. I’d bet he clears waivers, especially now that Boston has a left handed hitting first baseman in Lowe. Even if he doesn’t, who cares? He’s #3 behind Vaughn and Hoskins, it would take a lot to need to him again.

Durbin HR !!

Not bizzarro or aggressive.

You could show me a pic of a Unicorn and I wouldn't believe that either.

The weather will be as I said it will be. You'll see.

You should probably believe in unicorns.

Anatomy of how the Brewers are doing this. I give you the Brewers' 4-run 8th:

  • ground out
  • walk
  • walk
  • walk
  • infield hit - 70 mph exit velo that the 2B had to roam far to his left into the outfield grass and throw was late to get Ortiz at first (run scored, bases still loaded, 1 out)
  • 80 mph line drive single over the outstretched glove of the 2B (run scored, bases still loaded, 1 out)
  • 51 mph grounder to short that forced out the runner at second but no DP (run scored, 1st and 3rd, two outs)
  • stolen base (2nd and 3rd, two outs)
  • wild pitch (run scored)
  • walk
  • groundout

That's 4 runs on 2 singles that weren't hard hit, and an opposing fanbase shaking their head at the luck merchants from behind the Cheese Curtain. For us, this kind of production is almost a daily occurrence,
