Pathetic from the crew chief to try to follow Murphy into the dugout after the ejection.  Don't like something Murphy said?  File a report.  Don't think he left the field timely?  File a report.  Good umps don't prolong delays or heighten conflict with a manager who's been ejected.  Unprofessional and pathetic.

I'm assuming the Phillies challenge will be overturned because it seems unlikely that they got any calls right after the umps got into their feelings.

Feel like you can make calls just based on how a hitter reacts.  Realmuto jogging and weakly putting his arms out like a safe sign tells you he thought he went and is just hoping to catch a break.

Exhaustion - it just is what it is - cant get through entire games using 6 pitchers every night and not have at least one spring leaks when you've played games 3 weeks straight without a day off

It’s a gamble when your only deadline pickup is a pitcher who’s already on the IL. Can’t be too surprised that he isn’t going to last long.

Now between Megill being gone and other pitchers on fumes from overuse the bullpen is a big question mark.

Bad home plate umpiring here, but it doesn’t change the fact that this bullpen is gassed and now down two important arms. Brain trust has to go to the drawing board and figure out how to get outs for two more months.
