Every time I look at the standings and see 89-55 for a Milwaukee brewers team I don’t believe my eyes

I like round #'s like 90 and 100.  With 18 games to go 100 is with in our powers.

11-7 is a doable but I believe we are going to have some crazy lineups and pitching staffs the last week of the season to get everyone healed up

and btw I hope we don’t go crazy to just get the number one seed.    IMO one or two doesn’t really matter that much.

I like big numbers.  With 18 games left, we could hit 107 wins.  Time for more GW burgers!😉

You are probably correct, but I'd still rather have an NLCS game 7 in Milwaukee instead of Philadelphia.

Trea Turner went out with a hamstring yesterday.  As of now it doesn't seem major, but it would be nice if it was just enough to keep him out of the playoffs unless its the WS.   No Wheeler/Turner would be a break

Rangers are 1.5 behind in the wildcard so they're still playing for something. Take at least one, ideally 2

1 out of 3 would be a failure.

oh Adolis Garcia is out now too.          Didn't know Joc had been ok in the last few weeks, I saw the next post not knowing here was there.  FYI, he signed there this year for like 2/40 and has been atrocious, like dfa level bad. Althogh apparently has done ok the last few weeks according to sveum.  There was some talk on mlb a few weeks ago about how loyal the manager has been because he keeps trotting him out there in the 3 hole every day with a .170 type avg and 600ish ops

Texas trots Pederson out there even vs LHP? I know they're down a few bats, but that surprises me if true.

IDK. Never factchecked it but yea you'd think he'd be out vs lefties.

Collins and Durbin sitting too much for my liking...

I hope it's a maintenance thing, and Murphy will let them get into a groove to finish the season by starting them every game.

I know Bauers has been pretty good for a couple of games, but seriously, he's still Jake Bauers, he isn't a guy we can count on down the stretch.  We need to get Hoskins up here soon to let HIM get into a groove.  I don't want to bring him up the last week of the season, which would mean he would have to find his footing pretty quickly to help us in the playoffs.

I think the Brewers could go 6-12 the rest of the season and still win the division. I don’t want to test that theory but the Cubs are struggling.

I appreciate everyone who contributes to the IGT threads, but I am really hoping someone takes the time to post the starting line-ups like it used to be here.  lol

I'm pretty spotty during the day and evening leading up to game time, otherwise I'd be happy to do it.

They just stated on the pre game that there were a ton of Brewers fans in the Arlington area today. So, that's what.....10-15 fans based on thier individual weights?

I agree Turbo, but not sure on the alternative tonight?  Bauers isn't playing, and if Collins was in there, either Chourio or Frelick would need to be in CF...  I think I read somewhere that they are being pretty cautious with JC and thus far have been playing him in LF

I think we can all agree that Collins is a massive offensive upgrade over Perkins, regardless of a RHP or LHP, but Perkins has been playing lately for his defense.

To your point on Bauers... I'd love to see Bauers and Seigler get sent down, with Hoskins and Lockridge coming back up.   Lockridge seemed to be decent in CF earlier in the Summer, and his hitting was much better before being sent down than Perkins

Perkins past 15 games...  .128/.212/.170/.392

Yikes....  he was seeing the ball pretty good before taking leave, but just hasn't been the same player since he returned from bereavement.  Not knowing what he went through & understanding his loss, I get that baseball might not be the most important thing right now (nor should it), but his bat has been killing us.

That said, his defense at a premium position is so good, maybe he can contribute effectively in that way even if he's a blackhole in the lineup
