We aren't going to score against Boyd, are we?

Probably not.  The second it gets bad they pull him.

The Packers and Bucks at least have trophies to hang their hats on. This team doesn’t even have a World Series appearance (since 1982 anyway, which I find out during every rain delay)

They also have spent 30+ years competing in a league that's literally structured to prevent them from winning the whole thing.

Man this thread is worse than this game.

See you guys tomorrow.

Sure... I'm a fair weather fan.  The problem is we have seen this story soooooo many times.

I'm sorry that I got excited about this team.  I should have figured the noose would tighten up.

It’s hard to even remember there’s a Game 5. It feels like we’ve already blown this thing.

Murph will probably go with Yeli leading off one more time on Saturday as a final middle finger to the Brewer faithful.

Well nobody else can get on base, so.

They were getting on base the first two games. So how does Ortiz always get an at bat with the bases loaded once a game?

Really bad at bats. Really bad. Late on everything, chasing way out of the zone. I’m gonna check out myself for the night, can’t do two late nights in a week. See y’all Saturday for game 5. (If I’m the jinx, so be it)

This is basically an admission that the "bites of the apple approach" is as joke.  That just get in and get hot is a myth.

Such a lame excuse. They've made the playoffs every year but one since 2018 and haven't won a single series since then.

I've watched Atlanta, Tampa, Kansas City and Arizona play in recent World Series games. Seattle and Toronto are in the running right now.

I'll be moderately surprised if we score 2 runs between now and Saturday night. I've accepted death already.

Game threads are reactionary in a meaningless June game on a Tuesday night.

I'm not sure what you expected in October when the fans’ worst fears against their worst rivals are coming true right before their eyes.

Assuming we don't come back, any consideration to starting Andruw at 3rd Saturday.

None.

That wouldn't be painful enough.

We have to have a lead late on Saturday only to blow it.

That would be the most painful way for it to end

Besides 1 swing, as frustrating as this has been it'd be a scoreless game.

Brewers have to figure out their offense and get some guys on base.  The game 5 lineup should already be filled out for saturday and it should match games 1 and 2.

What about SS?

I'm convinced Murphy would rather go down in flames than admit his way didn't work.

Can we ******* stop talking about PCA? The Cubs have a lot of good hitters. He's not one of them. Let him silently throw his tantrums and shut the **** up.

I hope Darling loses his voice before Saturday.

These national broadcasts are nauseating ... Cubs, Cubs, Cubs ... is there even another team on the field that has won the division 4 of the last 5 years?

Brewers ... get a chip on your shoulder and make them talk about you!
