He started Brandon Lockridge in a playoff game. Brandon Lockridge, who wasn’t even deemed worthy of a spot on the MLB roster late in the season. 

That is called getting too cute with a 2-0 series lead and it is Mark Kotsay in CF level of mismanagement.
